Mystiriódis Filo’sofia Jazira

Mystiriódis Filo’sofia Jazira (MFJ), is a concept dreamed up by Brian Bayer, founder and incorporator, to provide awareness, education, and assistance to those in need. Mystiriódis is the Greek word for “mystical,” Filo’sofia is the Latin word for Philosophy and wisdom, (spelled with the letter “F” to denote a Cabalistic understanding that differentiates foundationally from the wider known mystical practice that is spelled with the letter “K”), and Jazira, the Arabic word for island. These names all mesh together and illustrate the unification of the oldest languages of the cultures in philosophy, science and religion coming together and speaking freely without judgment. As he believes in both God and in the inherent goodness of people, Brian could not understand why he was unable to receive assistance while homeless and living on the streets of Pennsylvania. Brian set out to create a space to aid the homeless tailored specifically to what he experienced living on the streets of different cities in Pennsylvania. While structured like a church, MFJ is not a church, because it is Brian’s belief and his interpretation of Scripture, that we, the people, are the church. As such, if MFJ were a church, it would be a church welcoming all people, all religions, all races, colors, practices, creeds and schools of thought. The fundamental tenets of MFJ are to provide education and create awareness, while also offering benevolent assistance to those in need. This site is to generate awareness and funds for this dream. Our services

MFJ, an avid seeker of Truth, understands there are varying beliefs people hold  and the similarities and differences between them. Under the belief that sacred texts provide insight and knowledge that is hidden from the people, MFJ is an organization  allowing people to meet and discuss these truths and a place to be able to engage in the philosophical concepts of religion. At this very same place, one can have coffee, a sandwich, and a place to shower, all of which would have been helpful to him while maneuvering the streets, attempting to find a home, or at least a bed to sleep in for the night. Most shelters provide a place to sleep for the night and shower, however, typically the residents are not allowed to stay there during the day. Conversely, MFJ has a resource center where guests can use computers to search for jobs, send emails, assist with creating resumes, and a comfortable place to sit and listen to discourse.  MFJ’s aim is to also assist in job placement that would serve as demonstrative support in assisting clients with obtaining employment.

Alchemy

Alchemy, as far as we are concerned, is a "chemical" process, performed spiritually. Thereby we seek to show a path through all the world's religions, and show how they all can be used to unify, rather than divide, and then how they can be used to empower, from within this new understanding. So, it can be labeled as a form of spiritual alchemy. It seems to us that it is plainly obvious how the world religions have been used diabolically, to tear us apart, and keep us fighting one anther. Our new Perspective offers a Way we can all heal, grow and affect our world for the better, by digging to find the like parts in all things: the spirit in us all. Once we begin to see who we truly are, all division fades and true power to overcome begins.

Philosophie

Along with feeding and sheltering the poor, it is our understanding that a person's Philosophy determines their Perspective and thus their worldview. This is founded upon BoethiusConsolation of Philosophy, which reveals how our Philosophy gives life to what we have available to Experience. If we do not Believe we are capable of something, why would we try?  But when shown how the Minde can give form to possibilities, we can give life to miracles and overcome obstacles that previously seemed immovable. This puts a new drive behind the old tasks, and empowers "we the people", encouraging us to fly as high as we can go!

Our Mission

Our mission is to help the homeless and needy, in both practical and spiritual means, and the spiritual approach to alchemy unites them both. Alchemy is a Philosophy, and thereby, a worldview. People can hold different philosophies for different things, but at the bottom line, only One Philosophy supports the entire system.  It is our goal to work with all who come through our doors, to find this Doore to the Kingdome.

Don't let the terminology scare you. Both Philosophy and Magick are severely scientific terms, and Arts that are to be guided by the most rigorous science. We are not chasing gold, as much as purifying the Idea that makes dreams come true.

We seek to get funded to unite "we the people" and show how religion has been used to separate us, keep us fighting ourselves, while the rich maintain control and keep this world in it's current state. We plan to teach a philosophy unheard of in the church buildings, apart from the teachers who have done the digging enough to know, which, to our knowledge, is few and far between.

With our teaching, the entire world will begin to speake, and much differently, much clearer, than before. This teaching will prepare the students to "take back that which was stolen".

James 2:26

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without workes is dead also.”

There is more being said here than meets the Eyee. With our help, you will learn how to heare and Sea the world in a way that Promises to Promise like we were Promised.

What sets us apart

I hit my head, in a car accident a long time ago. On my path to recovery, I had to learn new ways to work with my memory and feelings. In the process, I was led to some books which made beautiful sense to me. I leaned how to program my mind to do things that the docs swore I would never do again: eat, clothe myself, take a shower, walk right, talk right, things that most take for granted. But in this process, I also learned how this could be applied to far more, and how I could help others who were struggling. Between the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Philosophical and spiritual Alchemy, I was given the tools I needed to reshape my Experience of the world, and now I want to pass this Gold on to others.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

By changing the ways we think, we affect the way we feel. By changing how we feel, we affect our Experiences.

Philosophy

MFJ takes a mystical approach to a Philosophical understanding that is the key to mental, physical, and spiritual liberation.

Alchemy

As we apply it, Alchemy is the "chemical process" of uniting 2 separate things into one cohesive and flowing unit. Thus taking the Philosophy and the practical application of therapy and uniting them. Thus creating the environment for Change.
